Terms and Conditions

All Cakes and edibles made by Flying Delights are subject to the following terms and conditions.

Ingredients

All our cakes are vegetarian and freshly baked to order. We only use quality ingredients.

Vegan and gluten free cakes are available, but please note that our kitchen is generally used to prepare foods that contain these ingredients and also nuts. Every effort is taken to keep ingredients separate however cakes may contain traces of nuts or nut oil.  Please discuss any dietary requirements with us before ordering.

Design

Our cakes are all handmade and are therefore individual. We will do our best to match designs and colours but there may be some variance. Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced by any other cake maker, can only be reproduced by Flying Delights as our interpretation of that cake and will not be an exact reproduction of the cake in the picture or photo.

Storage

Sugar paste (the soft icing covering the cake) is not designed to be refrigerated and as such cakes with this icing should be stored in a cool dry place, preferably in the box they were supplied in, refrigeration may cause colours to run and dry out cakes.

Orders

Orders are excepted by phone, facebook and email.  Confirmation of order will be given via email.

We prefer at least 2 weeks notice on orders. We will accept short notice cakes subject to the availability of the date required.

Payments

Cupcake orders must be paid in full when placing your order. Cash, bank transfer or PayPal payments are accepted.

For giant cupcakes and large orders, a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and the remaining balance is to be paid one week before delivery.

Amendments

Any amendment to your order must be confirmed via email/writing as soon as possible and may be subject to an additional charge if extra work is required. We will do our best to accommodate last minute changes, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, work already completed is still chargeable. All deposits are non-refundable.

Delivery

Local delivery and set up is subject to availability; any arrangements for delivery may be subject to change, however prior notice will be given where possible.  We cannot be held responsible for any accidental damage that may occur after delivery. Consumption of the cake is viewed as your acceptance that the cake is adequate for the purpose for which it has been supplied.  Delivery charges is subject to our confirmation.

Publication

We reserve the right to use photos of all cupcakes and edibles made by Flying Delights in any form of media.

Acceptance

By placing an order with Flying Delights you are agreeing to these terms.
